This small yarn business is owned by me, Jorine.
I started Green Cabin Yarns in 2024 to create a range of naturally hand dyed yarns,
focusing on dyeing in small batches to create a truly unique product.
Next to naturally dyed yarn I also create hand spun yarn, knitwear and woven items.
And if you are Interested in learning how to dye or spin yarn yourself I offer workshops and private lessons.

Part of the yarn collection is created from local sheep flocks. Some of this yarn is hand spun and some is sourced from Middleton croft in Elphin.
These local yarns are complemented by high quality yarns from British wool mills.
Most of these yarns are spun from British wool but as I do love a posh yarn now and again I also stock some luxury yarns spun from imported fiber.

Green Cabin Yarns is committed to be as green and sustainable a business as possible.
That’s why it only stocks natural yarns and fibers.
